Ger Farrell (Independent)

Ger is very well known and respected in Irish session & rock drumming circles with his hard hitting style and precision playing, but it is his versatility that gets him such a wide spectrum of work at home and abroad.

Ger has recently been performing with Dolores O’Riordan (Voice of the Cranberries), and has recorded drums for her new solo album “No Baggage”, which was released worldwide last September.

He is also a regular on Irish Television, and played with the “Late Late Show” house band for the last ten years. Some of the artists he has performed with on the show include; Tom Jones, Mick Hucknell (Simply Red), Andrea Bocelli, Ill Divo, Ronan Keating, Michael Bolton, Sinead O’Connor, Westlife, Robin Gibb, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Russell Watson, Katherine Jenkins, Rodney Crowell, Charlie Pride, Elaine Paige and Justin Heyward (War of the Worlds).

Ger is also a regular on various other TV and live shows, including the “Tonight Show”, the “Miriam O’Callaghan Show”, Live & Kicking (BBC) & at the “Meteor Ireland Music Awards”, performing drums & percussion duties with artists such as Lionel Richie, Sinead O’Connor, Westlife, and Brian Kennedy.

Most recently Ger has been playing percussion with Snow Patrol, having lately performed with the band at the Natura Nos Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
