Jonathan Ginger Hamilton At just 3 years old Jonathan decided what he wanted to do; play the drums! And he would not be silent from this moment onwards. Pots, pans, pens utensils, anything which could stand n or be used as drums he made sure to use them anywhere and everywhere. Since this his youthful zeal and passion for the drums has only grown from strength to strength. Now a fully-fledged musician Jonathan has a well-earned confidence in his talent. After playing church as drummer for the past 13 years he has expanded his music CV by working for and with many well established and up and coming gospel and secular artists including: Noel Robinson UKs No.1 Praise and Worship leader Ekklesia GMTV gospel competition runners up 2003 Raymond Dyer - front man of Britain’s leading contemporary gospel group Raymond and Co. (GMTV gospel competition winners 2003 and MOBO winners 2004) SoulCyde- an up and coming indie rock band KICC IGOC- one of Britain’s largest Christian conventions with congregations of 13000 people plus. (He shared the stage with one of the pioneering female vocalist of the decade CeCe Winans). Through the years Jonathan has gained respect and admiration from his peers and mentors in the music business. His talent has been recognised by many great musicians. He was fortunate enough to also feature in a drum clinic facilitated by Aaron Breakbeat Fagan (UK Soul Project) at the renowned Drumtech Britain’s leading institute for drum tuition. Jonathan is currently Musical Director of Virtuous a talented and vibrant group of young females set to release material in the very near future. He is also working with Ryan Carty an up and coming jazz/soul gospel vocalist and will be going into the studio with him very soon
