Mat Hector (Iggy Pop)

As part of Iggy Pop's band for the last three years Mat has become widely know for his hard hitting groove and stylistic adaptability. This has been showcased in his recent work with with the immersive and visceral live rock/film show Gutteredammerung, during which he worked with the likes of Grace Jones and Henry Rollins. 

Prior to joining Iggy Pop, Mat worked with Thomas Dolby for a number of years, completing a number of US and world tours. He also recording on his last studio album "A Map Of The Floating City" as well the live album "Thomas Dolby - Live in Tokyo" and appeared with a Thomas on the anniversary edition of "The Old Grey Whistle Test". 

In addition to working with Iggy, Gutterdammerung and Thomas Dolby this year Mat will also be playing alongside legendary Bowie pianist Mike Garson on the Aladdin Sane tour.
