Gemma Hill (Robots in Disguise)

Gemma has played in the UK, Europe and Japan for Robots In Disguise since 2007, supporting Gossip, Cyndi Lauper, The Fratellis and Gary Numan amongst others. As a session drummer she’s played for Robyn at Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Sony Walkman’s Music Project advert, Stephanie Dosen (Massive Attack collaborator, Bella Union artist) and toured extensively with Ethan Lewis Maltby’s percussion spectacular, ‘Noise Ensemble’, whose highlight was playing to a full capacity Wembley Stadium for the 2008 FA Cup Final Opening Ceremony.  Gemma writes a monthly feature on female drummers for and is currently playing for ‘Emaline and the Emboldened Wanderlust’ and London based ‘Danimal Kingdom’.
