Kristo is a young Icelandic-Colombian drummer, percussionist and composer based in Reykjavik Iceland. Music has always played a big role in Kristo's life and has his Latin heritage and passion for improvisation can be clearly heard in his work.

Kristo has worked with many of the leading Icelandic jazz, pop and world music artists, such as: Június Meyvant, Lay Low, Tómas R. Einarsson, The Reykjavík Big Band, Samúel Jón Samúelsson Big Band and Soffia Björg.

He has a degree in music and education and has for the past years taught music and created educational material.

Kristo is currently touring with Júníus Meyvant and proudly using Protection Racket cases for all his gear.
