Peter Miles (Independent)
Peter realized that he wanted to play music as a young boy. Specifically the drums, thanks to Buddy Rich’s West Side Story solo, which Peter made his father, play on the turntable with increasing regularity.
Peter is now a versatile and talented performer who has been in high demand for over 20 years. His experiences in music include theater, drum and bugle corps, numerous recordings, touring, and of course countless performances on stages, at clubs and at music festivals worldwide, including Bonnaroo, North Sea Jazz, SXSW, Newport Jazz, Monterey, JVC, London, and Berlin Jazz Festivals to name a few.
Peter has performed nationally and internationally with such respected artists as: Wessel Anderson, Howard Arlen, Scotty Barnhart, Louis Bellson, Debby Boone, Jimmy Bruno, Eddie Daniels, Harry "Sweets" Edison, Herb Ellis, Bunky Green, Barry Greene, J.J. Grey, Colonel Bruce Hampton, Branford Marsalis, Ellis Marsalis, Andreas Oberg, Bucky Pizzarelli, John Pizzarelli, Marcus Printup, Clark Terry, Ben Tucker, and Doug Wamble.
